I’m so excited!  It’s only been two days and I’ve already gotten my Nu Skin Business Builder package in the mail… I’ve been with a lot of companies and I’ve never gotten such a quick start with any company before.

Although I spent a lot of time on the phone today, I did manage to find enough time to start setting up my new blog for Nu Skin products.

Unlike a lot of other network marketing companies, Nu Skin actually puts it’s emphasis on getting people to buy products, not recruiting new distributors.  That means that I’ll have to work on my marketing in order to move product online… no problem!

That’s where my new blog comes in!

My blog is actually going to be a little bit different twist on the Nu Skin market than where most distributors go.  In fact, I plan to kill two birds with one stone.

As many of you know, I’ve been struggling with my weight for the last 15 years since I hurt my back and was put on some really hairy pain medicine that completely messed up my metabolism.

I know what you’re thinking… excuses, excuses.

But it’s actually true.  I went from 117 pounds to 172 pounds in about four months on this medication and my body has never been the same since.

Anyway, I decided to start a blog that documents my weight loss struggle, promotes some affiliate products, and highlights relevant products from Nu Skin… And hopefully shows some serious weight loss as well.

Cathartic and profitable… got to love that!

Anyway, I’ll write a post when the blog is ready for public consumption… and that was my day today!

I have to admit that I’ve been looking for a specific type of company for a long time.  You see, I’ve been working with Financial Destination (FDI) since last summer and I really love the company and their products.

I’ve been successfully working on building a team with them – in fact it’s been pretty easy – but I’ve found that they have one VERY major flaw…

FDI is only available in the US.

While that’s probably a pretty good thing for a lot of people, it seriously puts a crimp in my style since I have business contacts all over the world.  I really needed a network marketing company that operates in the global market.

I really didn’t want to give up my FDI business — especially when it’s making money, but I can’t ignore the fact that I’m missing out on the rest of the world market here.

So I started doing my research.  Here’s the specific things that I was looking for:

• Global Company
• Non-competing product with FDI
• Really great products
• Lucrative Compensation
• Easy Duplication Plan
• Takes advantage of current market trends

Well, let me tell you… this turned out to be a really tall order.  Then I found Nu Skin and I literally think that this is the next Apple of the network marketing industry.  Take a look at the video I put together to see what I mean:

To me, this is like getting in on the ground floor of a new business launch… So I finally decided to take the plunge and I joined Nu Skin today!

If building website content on other sites isn’t something that you’ve tried before, you should really take a look at it.  It’s a great way to get your message.

If fact, posting on sites like Hubpages can actually get you more notice than posting on blogs or your own website because Hubpages generally get picked up pretty quickly in the search engines.

So take a look at my Hub for some ideas and then get started building your own!

I’ve been talking to a lot of people in the last couple of days who really don’t have any idea about how attraction marketing really works.  That’s why I put together the video below…

I was having a conversation with one of the members on me team this morning and they made a comment about how many irons I have in the fire… And they’re right!

I have a lot different websites out there, promote a several different products, create my own products, operate a bunch of different  autoresponder lists, and spend a lot of time working with my team in Financial Destination.

That means that I don’t necessarily work on the same things every day.

In fact, it’s pretty safe to say that every day is completely different in my business.

…And that’s what got me to thinking about how other people may be able to benefit from seeing how a REAL entrepreneur ACTUALLY spends their day working on their business.

So that’s what I’m going to try to do here… provide a daily journal type thing that gives you an insider’s look at how I run my business from day to day.

I can’t promise that it will always be interesting… but I can promise that it’s REAL!
